Well done, girls! Take Monday off then back to the grindstone on Tuesday, 4:30-6:00 at Nike. Big President’s Cup game this Saturday vs Chantilly.

The Real Force pauses from WAGS league play this weekend to participate in our Club’s VIP Tournament. Several Real Force players are sick and we wish them all speedy recoveries. We welcome three guest players from the Vienna Hurricanes: Carolyn, Caroline, and Christine.

Games will be on the beautiful Lake Fairfax synthetic turf fields. The weather forecast looks pretty good. Coach Hai will be experimenting with some new formations and positions for the girls. Should be a good opportunity to ‘fine tune’ things for the second half of the WAGS season.

Also, the team will be playing President’s Cup games on Saturdays in October. Should be fun to play some teams outside our WAGS division.

The team played well in their first two WAGS games, winning 2-0 against VSA Heat Gold and CSA Spirit Black. Then they kicked the offense into high gear last weekend in 5-1 and 4-0 victories against VSA again and the Alexandria Thunder.

The Real Force now has 12 points and sits atop the table in their WAGS division (http://www.wagsl.com/standings/Fall2009/17258236.html).

3. Jenny and Taylor played their first games of travel soccer.
